About the artist

Hello!!!

My name is Catheryne Molina, but I normally go by  Cat. I’m a Salvadorian-American artist, born and raised in Houston, Texas, and currently based in Minneapolis. I received my BFA in Painting from the University of Houston and am now pursuing my Master’s at the Minneapolis School of Art and Design. My work is a bit of everything! I bounce between painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital media, and lately, I’ve been having a blast with interactive installations, illustration, and even 3D dioramas. In short, I love creating immersive worlds full of stories that invite people to get lost in them.
